Brussels will lack high-performance 4G network by 2022
The Federation of Telecom Operators, Agoria, has warned the public about the growth of mobile data traffic in Brussels, announced Le Soir. What this means is that the network will either be really slow during the busy hours of the day or almost not operational.
According to the federation, the network is so saturated that Brussels will be deprived of a high-performance connection by the year 2022.
The maps that the federation has shared show that several districts will be affected. The first ones being the center of Brussels, namely Bourse and De Brouckere, as well as the South and North stations.
By the first half of 2022, the whole territory of the Brussels Region is expected to be affected.
