Brussels Yoga and Vegan Festival 2019

With an increase in vegan-friendly cafes, restaurants and more availability of vegan food in supermarkets, Brussels is becoming a heaven for vegans. The city has already hosted many large vegan events that drew thousands in crowds. Now, Brussels is getting ready for its second annual Yoga and vegan Festival that is scheduled to take place at the recently-opened event venue, Be-here, on Sunday September 15th.

Last year, the event was fully sold out.

The day-long festival will consist of all-day-long Yoga and meditation classes, talks on mental health, workshops, classes for children, Bollywood dance and a vegan market with stallholders selling a range of vegan products and stalls selling delicious vegan food. Many local Yoga schools are participating in the event that also aims to raise money for charity.

The event is being run by Yogific, an organization based in London, UK, that hosts such events in various cities across Europe. “After the amazing success of last year’s event, we wanted to make Brussels our home. We received a lot of support from local volunteers and they have helped us to find a suitable venue and schedule the event this year. We are overwhelmed by the support in Brussels and hope to give an even better experience to our visitors this year”, says Kriti, the founder of Yogific.

There is no entry fee to visit stalls. All classes can be attended by purchasing a day ticket that costs only 8 euros in advance and 10 euros on the day. Free entry for children.
