Discovering Estonian Jazz

Which country is currently holding the presidency of the Council of the European Union? As a clue, this country is also celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2017. No idea? The answer is Estonia.

This Baltic State has two events to celebrate in the second semester of 2017: the Presidency of the Council and the 100th anniversary of its independence. This is why events have been planned all around Belgium and Luxembourg. If you are interested in jazz and you know nothing about Estonian music, you should definitely have a look at the B-Est Jazz Fest on 12 and 13 September. You will have the opportunity to discover the saxophonist Maria Faust, as well as the piano trio, Peedu Kass Momentum. Two Belgian bands will also perform gigs there.
