Earth Hour at the Grand-Place and Atomium #Connect2Earth
On Saturday 30 March 2019, the City of Brussels will participate again in the Earth Hour event of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). From 8:30 pm, the lights of the City Hall, the facades of the Grand-Place and the Atomium will be switched off for an hour.
For 12 years now, WWF has been calling on everyone to switch off the electricity for one hour on the last Saturday of March. In this way, the fund wants to draw attention to the importance of energy saving.
