Expo Porno: a scientific, artistic and fun approach to pornography. The exhibition aims to explore the facets of pornography through a dive into history to examine its role, place and form through the ages.

14 contemporary artists have agreed to exhibit their work in this context: drawings, sculptures, videos, films, photographs.

Accessible only to 16 years or older.

Today, teenagers’ first contact with sex and sexuality happens in front of a computer screen or smartphone. It is a fact. If society has an alarmist speech about pornography and its potential influences on the construction of sexuality among teens and even adults, it does not propose a solution (apart from the prohibition) by an approach based on the deconstruction of pornography.

Pornography and how to approach sexual questions in a lucid, spontaneous, uninhibited and free manner

Pornography (and its “excitatory” virtue) has always been present. But there have been changes in borders and therefore an amplification of its audience. Today, porn invites itself at home.

Starting from the field questions of youth leaders and their demands for sexuality and libido, the exhibition aims to explore the different facets of pornography through a dive into history to examine the role, place and the form of pornography across the ages, between conformism and subversion, between suggestion and explanation.

Fourteen contemporary artists have agreed to exhibit their work in this context: drawings, sculptures, videos, films, installations, photographs.

The exhibition will be punctuated with questions to guide the guided tours for the public school, to support the holding of philosophical workshops, but ultimately to question our own representations of pornography.
