Brussels Museums Nocturnes attracted more than 24,000 visitors

The Brussels Museums Nocturnes was an exciting initiative, which lasted from 13 September to 6 December. During this time period, each Thursday, at least 5 museums have opened their doors to visitors from 5pm until 10pm. Overall, 73 museums participated.

The 18th edition of Brussels Museum Nocturnes turned out to be a big success as it attracted a record of 24,600 visitors. The number of visitors reached 23,000 in 2017, 18,500 in 2016 and 16,000 in 2015.

 

The contemporary Kanal-Center Pompidou welcomed 3,000 visitors, while the Jewish Museum welcomed 1,095.  During this time period, Palais dEgmont registered 1,311 visitors and the Museum of Natural Sciences had 738.

The museums which have participated have made each visitor’s Thursday evening magical.

As it was time to wave goodbye to the Brussels Museums Nocturnes 2018, there was one last goodbye-party.
