Film Premiere: Leto by Kirill Serebrennikov

On Monday, February 25th at 7pm, the premiere of Kirill Serebrennikov’s film, Leto, will be screened at BOZAR. The film was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. And that is not all. We have amazing news for you.

Synopsis: Leningrad, one summer in the early eighties. Smuggling LP’s by Lou Reed and David Bowie, the underground rock scene is boiling, ahead of the Perestroika. Mike and his wife Natasha meet with young Viktor Tsoï. Together with friends, they will change the destiny of rock’n’roll in the Soviet Union.

 

The screening premiere at BOZAR will be with English subtitles.
The film will be officially released on March 13th at Cinema Galeries, where there will be some screening with English subtitles, and others with FR/NL subtitles.
