Up to 150 EUR for those who get an electric bike and live in Jette

« Every Jettois who buys a new e-bike, an electric bike up to 25 km/h, or a cargo bike, is entitled to a communal bonus. This bonus, which had been suspended at the end of February 2019 for budgetary reasons, is therefore back, » the municipality of Jette has announced on their website.

The amount of the premium has been set at 15% of the purchase price, with a maximum of 150 euros if you purchase bike and 300 euros for cargo bikes.

Each household is entitled to a maximum of 2 bonuses over a period of 3 years. This decision is entirely in line with the municipality’s active cycling policy, which aims to encourage hesitant users to barter their car against a bicycle, thanks to financial incentives.
