Up to 150 EUR for those who get an electric bike and live in Jette

“Every Jettois who buys a new e-bike, an electric bike up to 25 km/h, or a cargo bike, is entitled to a communal bonus. This bonus, which had been suspended at the end of February 2019 for budgetary reasons, is therefore back,” the municipality of Jette has announced on their website.

The amount of the premium has been set at 15% of the purchase price, with a maximum of 150 euros if you purchase bike and 300 euros for cargo bikes.

Each household is entitled to a maximum of 2 bonuses over a period of 3 years. This decision is entirely in line with the municipality’s active cycling policy, which aims to encourage hesitant users to barter their car against a bicycle, thanks to financial incentives.
