Welcome to the Football Village in Brussels
“This is our fifth edition of the Football Village and the first time at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel.” says Larry Moffett, one of the Football Village organisers. “We are really excited as always to offer a great space where expats from all nations can come together and watch the beautiful game.”
The Football Village, known for hosting fan zones for the Euro and World Cup in Brussels, returns for this year’s competition in the Place Wiltcher’s inner courtyard of the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s hotel. The Village will be open throughout the duration of the World Cup (14 June to 15 July 2018) and give fans the chance to gather and enjoy the televised matches.
Seeing as most Brussels districts have decided against showing cup games on big screens this year, The Football Village with this exclusive spectator experience provides the big game relief that would have left many wanting after the news. The Village aims to give a friendly, safe and comfortable environment for fans, yet a lively and international sports ambience among cheering supporters of each national team is to be expected, as the spacious viewing areas, indoors and outdoors can cater to a mass crowd.
Should you still want the vibe but prefer a more secluded experience, then separate VIP sections with catering are available for corporate booking.
