Looking for a nice treat for the kids this Christmas?

Looking for a nice treat for the kids this Christmas? If so, then an upcoming festive-themed show could be just for you (and the youngsters too!).

The appropriately named “Le Show De Noël” features all the favourite characters from Studio 100, the successful Belgian company that produces popular children’s television series and also owns amusement parks and musical ensembles.

In the show, favourite children’s much-loved heroes from the small screen will join Santa Claus amidst the backdrop of some of the most beautiful scenes of Wallonia. These include Plop, Bric, Pipolette, Fred & Samson, Mega Mindy, Bumba, Maya the Bee and also newcomers such as Dragon Flin, Rox and Heidi.

So, what’s the story about?
Well, Christmas is fast approaching and Santa Claus needs help with his gift distribution.

He asks the elves for help and Bric and Pipolette both volunteer. But only one of them will have the privilege to assist the Big Man. And, guess what? Yes, it does not take long for our two friends to start squabbling!

To restore calm and also choose the goblin that will help, Father Christmas organizes a competition. Bric and Pipolette, with the help of the public, will have to pass a series of tests, each worth one point. It is the elf who wins the most points who will have the honour to distribute the gifts with Santa Claus.

And, to succeed in this challenge, Bric and Pipolette need the encouragement of the audience, especially its young members. Close on hand for this live show will be Nathalie Van Tongelen, the dynamic presenter of Studio 100 TV.

A show spokesman said, “All the ingredients that make a success of the Studio 100 shows will be evident with Le Show de Noel, including magical scenery, songs, choreography, humour and laughter.”

There are songs, dance and jokes aplenty in this wonderfully seasonal production which will be taken to various venues around the Walloon region over the festive season. The latest news from Santa is that tickets are going fast so his message is: “hurry up and order your tickets fast so you do not miss out!”

This unique and interactive family show is ideal for children of all ages but particularly those aged from 2 to 10 years old.  The writing, scenography and decorations were imagined by Tristan Moreau who will also direct it.
