New website with messages after attacks of 22 March 2016

After the attacks of 22 March 2016, the Archives of the City of Brussels collected the messages that were left at the Bourse and Maalbeek metro station. This City’s department has also taken pictures of the messages that were written at the Bourse with chalk on the walls or on the ground. All these messages are now online on the new website of the Archives

The documents were dried, cleaned and arranged according to the place and date of collection, and then digitized. Two years after the attacks of 22 March 2016, approximately 4,000 pictures and more than 2,500 messages can now be consulted online.
