The Environment Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary
On May 31st and June 1st and 2nd, all Sustainable Generations of Brussels will be on hand to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Environment Festival!
The fiesta will start on Friday night at BEL at Tour & Taxis with the Happy Ears Party . It will continue on Saturday at the same place with Ideate4Climate, a participatory hackathon. On Sunday, at the Parc du Cinquantenaire, take place at the traditional Festival of the Environment .
For its 20 years, the Festival of the Environment will put your eyes, ears and all your senses awake! Judge for yourself … You can introduce yourself to the transformation of clothing, meditation, the manufacture of lacto-fermented vegetables, the use of washable diapers, make you grim …

The Environment Day gets a makeover at the Parc du Cinquantenaire
You can discover the Village of Brussels Environment and its 5 major thematic capitals: Climate, Good Food, Zero Waste, Nature in the City and Sustainable Generations, the theme of the year 2019! More than 60 associations active in the protection of the environment in Brussels will also be present, awareness activities, didactic workshops, food trucks, physical activities, workshops for all ages, individual and collective games, fanfares, street theater, grimeuses, performances … Take a tour of the arcades Cinquantenaire: the Festival of Bicycle will be held, as part of the activities planned around the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Brussels.

The Bike Festival
To celebrate the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Brussels, the BIKE FESTIVAL will also take place in the Cinquantenaire on Sunday, June 2, the day before the World Bike Day!
In the presence of our national Eddy Merckx, young and old alike will be able to enjoy a wide range of fun and informative activities offered, among others, by the associations active in the field of cycling under the Arcardes du Cinquantenaire: interactive workshops, trainings, unusual bikes , walks, strolls, music, conferences … For gourmands, foodbikes fill the hungers.
