20 km of Brussels and traffic disruption on Sunday 19 May 2019
On Sunday 19 May 2019, Brussels welcomes the 20 km of Brussels (start at 10 am, finish till 3 pm). Certain main roads will be closed to traffic.
Closure of tunnels
The tunnels under the Rue Belliard, Avenue de Tervueren and Avenue Louise will be closed to traffic, from 5:30 am. The reopening will take place between 1 pm and 3 pm, following the passage of the runners.
Closure of roads
These main roads situated on the course of the 20km of Brussels will be closed from 9 am:
- Cinquantenaire
- rue Belliard
- rue de la Régence
- avenue Louise
- Bois de La Cambre
- avenue Franklin Roosevelt
- chaussée de La Hulpe
- avenue Delleur
- boulevard du Souverain
- avenue de Tervueren
- Cinquantenaire
The arrivals last until 3 pm. Due to the works after the last arrival, some streets (at the end) will be closed a little bit longer.
