Dimitris Politis

Dimitris Politis was born in Athens, Greece. He studied Economics in Greece and European Studies, Classics and Literature in Ireland. He has lived in Greece, Ireland, UK, Luxembourg and Belgium. He has published articles and reviews on Working Conditions and Occupational Health and Safety and numerous short stories in magazines and websites, two of which have won international literary competitions in his native Greece in 2015 and 2016. His first novel, "The stolen life of a cheerful man", was published in Greek in 2012 and in English in 2014. His second novel in Greek, "The next stop", was published in 2018 and is currently being translated into English. He is working on his third thriller, “In search of Phanes”.
