The City of Brussels allows shops to be open during Christmas holidays
The shops in the centre of the City of Brussels are allowed to be open on Sundays, also during the Christmas holidays. The free shopping bus will also be available.
Free shopping bus
The City of Brussels started last year a free shuttle service, to encourage its citizens to explore the various shopping quarters in the city centre. The buses, which carry 22 passengers, ride each Friday and Saturday and each first Sunday of the month (in December each Sunday). The bus brings passengers to the following stops: Dansaert, Saint-Jacques, Rue Neuve (Nieuwstraat), Grand-Place, Place Royale, Louise and Sablon.
Winter sales
On 3 January 2018, the winter sales will start. It will last until 31 January 2018.
