Launch of open air film space with “Bruxelles Sauvage” in Leopold’s Park

With the arrival of the EU institutions, the Leopold neighborhood has changed its character: offices instead of an environment rich in social interaction. To bring a little bit of life back to the area, eQuama (European Quarter Area Management Association) with offices in the King Baudouin Foundation has been created. One of their key ideas is to use the squares in the EU Quarter for its revitalization.

One of these initiatives is Movie in the Park. Why not an appetizer after work and an open-air cinema? To enjoy the Indian summer and bring people together.

The very first open-air cinema event will take place on Wednesday, 03 October 2018 at 18.30 with a networking drink and at 19.30 the screening of the film Bruxelles Sauvage in the Leopold Park, just in front of the Museum of European History.

Bruxelles Sauvage (1h05) reflects upon the place and hidden life of wild animals in the capital of Europe. Because yes, there is certainly a fox living at the bottom of your yard without you knowing it.

This cinema event is part of a larger program to activate the new friendly installation European Theatre, in the heart of the park, with a series of cultural and institutional events. Employees in the European Quarter, inhabitants of Brussels, tourists, students or retired, families with children, or just passing by, you are all more than welcome this Wednesday.
