RER: the works of the line towards Nivelles will not be finished before 2031

François Bellot, Minister in charge of Mobility, said to Bel RTL, that the works of the line towards Nivelles will not be finished before 2031.

“The goal is to have a train every 15 minutes between Brussels and Ottignies, and between Brussels and Nivelles. To Ottignies, we have all the permits, so it will be finished in 2023 or 2024. Towards Nivelles, the works will not be finished until 2031” he explained.
